2008 Honda s2000

Our latest project is one we have looked forward to for a long time; showcasing Honda's balanced chassis, along with rear wheel drive. Although a long way from completion, this S2000 has the Hondata Flash Pro and Kraftwerks Super Charger System. Stay tuned for the suspension system and brake upgrade coming this winter, as we will getting this car ready for it's track debut this spring.

UPDATE!

Okay, it’s been a while since project S2000 has been updated on the website but a lot of work has been going on:

The S2000 hit the racetrack at VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) in the spring of 2012 and was a blast to drive. With the version 1 Kraftwerks supercharger kit providing more power and torque it was getting noticed by the V8 cars

Soon after a few track events the front brake system was upgraded to the Stoptech Big Brake Kit which helped to consistently slow down from the higher speeds without overheating.

Next was the Hard Dog Roll Bar , a Recaro race seat, 5 point harness, and JRZ suspension system

Custom tuning with the Hondata FlashPro was done on our Dynapack Chassis dynamometer to get about 335 wheel horsepower

2013 found the S2000 being invited to the Ultimate Track Car Challenge at VIR where it competed and won the Fastest Honda award (even though there was a weird part failure that cut our timed event short)

2014 saw a power upgrade to the new (version2) Kraftwerks Supercharger kit followed by the TTS Performance Supercharger kit utilizing the powerful Rotrex C38-91 supercharger, horsepower was now up to about 390

2015 was a pretty good year with class wins at Sebring, VIR and Daytona where a new TT2 class lap record was established at Daytona, while the supercharger belt became an issue with the increased power, we got expert help from John at Maglieri Engineering and a prototype tensioner, grooved pulley and bracket were designed and machined to help the issue.
